What is a Real Estate Referral Company ?

A license referral (holding) company is licensed by the State of Illinois.  Licensees may not perform any real estate activities for clients, but can make referrals to active brokers and earn commission for those referrals.

What type of Real Estate transactions can I refer ?

You can refer residential, investors and commercial clients and receive referral commissions.

How do I transfer my License ?

Upon payment of your membership package, instructions will be sent to the email you provided. It will include detailed instructions how to log onto the IDFPR and transfer your license. 

Why Should I Join ?

The purpose is to keep one’s real estate broker license active. Common reasons include Newly Licensed Brokers, Dual Career Brokers,  Retiring Brokers, Part-Time / Inactive Brokers, Resident / Non-Resident Brokers Temporary Life Circumstances.

What if I want to become active ?

We have affiliated real estate brokerages throughout Illinois. We work with you to build your real estate business and become a REALTOR Rockstar !

Can I work for another Real Estate Brokerage ?

No. Illinois real estate law prohibits licensed persons from performing most real estate activities on behalf of more than one managing broker at any given time.

How Do I get PAID ?

When we receive the referral commission we immediately deposit it into our account.  As soon as the deposit clears the bank we electronically send your commissions to the checking account of your choice.  We can mail checks which are processed once a week.

Do I have to join the MLS and pay dues & Fees ?

No, you will not pay any MLS fees or Association dues. While your license is held with us, you will not be able to join any Illinois-based Realtor associations.

Do I still need to complete Continuing Education ?

Yes, you must still meet all CE requirements set forth by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation / Real Estate Division.
